Bhumi Puja For New AP Capital On June 6

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu revealed that the Bhoomi Puja would be performed on June 6 for the new capital city Amaravathi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation stone on Dasara festival day, he said.

Addressing the cadre on the second day of the TDP's Mahanadu at Gandipet on Thursday, Naidu urged the people to extend cooperation for the construction of the new capital.

He said that the Telugu people had a track record of constructing great cities. Amaravathi would be constructed as a "Praja Rajadhani", and nobody would be able to obstruct its development, he averred. (NSS)
